Week Forty Eight

Holy cow!!!! Only 4 more weeks until our baby officially becomes a toddler! I know Jack's birthday is just around the corner, but it really just hit me as I typed week 48! Where did the year go!!!!!!

When it was time to make a trip to the store, Jack had other ideas. He laid down on the floor and snuggled his blanket, as if to say "NOOOO, I don't want to go shopping again!!!!"

One of Jack's new favorite things to do is to ring the doorbell before we come in the back door. Believe me if I forget to do this, he is sure to remind me, and we have to go back outside to ring it. As you can see we still have the doorbell that needs to be installed at the front door. Maybe we should leave it on the windowsill for one more week? Besides, what would Jack play with in the kitchen? (hint, hint, honey!)

All excited to eat breakfast!

See...I can do it all by myself!

I think after I am done chewing on the vacuum attachment, I think I'll use it as a sword to beat mom with. That is just what he did. I was sitting on the floor, putting the finishing touches on the packing, for Jack's trip to Eau Claire, when he crawled over to me, stood up, and started wailing on me with the attachment. Can you say "all boy"?!?!?!

I'm all packed to go to Eau Claire! Jack spent last weekend at Grandpa Tim's and Grandma Jane's house, while Tom and I had a relaxing weekend refinishing our hardwood floors, for a second time! (Don't ask about it...it was waaaay too much fun!)

Eventhough we were back in Milwaukee hard at work, Jack had a ton of fun entertaining Grandpa Tim, Grandma Jane, Grandma Nancy and a bunch of other visitors (of course Grandpa Tom was hunting for ducks! Why didn't I get to go with you Grandpa? Just between you and me, I'm thinking of asking for a dog for my first birthday...then will you let me come with you?). Thanks for taking such good care of me Grandma and Grandpa!!!!! I can't wait to come back to chase the cats, and make diapers that require two of you to change me!!!! I love you!!!!!!!!

Week Forty Seven

Okay Grandpa Tom, I'm ready for hunting in my new camo!

Time to go to the pumpkin farm.

Hmmm...I'm not sure which one to pick.

Still trying to decide...

I think I want this one.

Well I became an "official mom" about a week ago, when we purchased our new mini van! I really don't like the idea of the mini van, but I will admit that it is VERY convenient!

Tom spotted this photo opportunity...when he showed it to me I couldn't help but get a little teary, and think about how amazing parenthood is.

We love you Little Man!

Week Forty Six

Jack showed off his chompers. He has a total of three teeth and two more are attempting to make their apperance.

Jen and I took Graham (Ryan and Jen's adorable nephew) to the zoo. They had a great time watching all of the animals, and getting to konw each other.

Jack was so excited to cheer on the Packers, in his new Packer gear.

Jack decided it was time to be done watching the game, and try to pull my hair, while I tried to watch the game.

The next Pablo Picasso?

Jack was sooooo excited to be playing with his truck. Tom would wind it up and Jack would just start shaking with excitement. We laughed pretty hard at all of his facial expressions.

Week Forty Four

After Jack enjoyed his spaghetti we thought it would be fitting to read his new book, "I'm Dirty."

Jack went directly from his highchair to the bath. It took a little bit of scrubbing, but all of the spaghetti came off.

On Wednesday we attended our last Brewer game of the season. We were hoping that they would end up in the playoffs, but unfortunately it didn't turn out that way. Jack and Ryan entertained each other for a little bit, once the Brewers got behind.

Emmie came by to wish Tom a happy 30th on Saturday. She and Jack had fun chasing each other around the house.

Yum!!!! Birthday pie!!!!! Happy Birthday Honey!!!!! Thanks to all who made the trip to Tom's party. It was so good to see everyone!!!!
